Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Becca website, the Becca AI assistant, and the Becca Box device. By using Becca or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms.

Who can use Becca

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Becca is currently offered in Nigeria.

Your account and access code

When you subscribe, you receive an access code to activate Becca. Keep it secure — you are responsible for activity under your account and code. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

Subscriptions and billing

• Becca is offered on monthly plans (Basic, Standard, Premium), priced on our website in Naira.
• Payments are processed by Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly charges for your plan until you cancel.
• We may change prices or features with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
• You can cancel at any time — see our Refund Policy for what happens when you cancel.

The Becca Box (hardware)

• Where your order includes a Becca Box, we deliver it to the address you provide. Delivery timelines are estimates.
• Risk passes to you on delivery. The Box remains subject to these Terms and our Refund Policy.
• Hardware may carry a limited warranty against manufacturing defects; details are provided with your device.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Becca for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose; reverse engineer, copy, resell, or tamper with Becca's software or the Becca Box; disrupt the service or its security; or use Becca to infringe others' rights.

Becca is an AI assistant

Becca uses artificial intelligence and may sometimes be inaccurate or unavailable. It is not a substitute for professional advice and must not be relied on for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Always use your own judgement.

Service availability

We work hard to keep Becca running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, and during beta the service may be limited or evolving.

Intellectual property

Becca, the Ψ mark, our software, and our content are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Becca while your subscription is active. You may not use our brand without permission.

Third-party services

Becca may connect to third-party devices and services. We are not responsible for those third parties, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Becca AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to cover losses we suffer arising from your misuse of Becca or breach of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using Becca at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or for legal or security reasons.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the courts of Lagos State.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with an updated date; continued use means you accept the changes.
